GALAXIA Mission Systems, a Canadian leader in space computation, has secured a $1.7 million contribution from the Canadian Space Agency to develop and launch its innovative MÖBIUS Software Defined Satellite (SDS) platform. The funding will support the construction and launch of two nano-satellite prototypes over the next three years, the first of many in the MÖBIUS Constellation. These programmable satellites will advance sectors like energy, infrastructure monitoring, and maritime security. GALAXIA aims to make space access more affordable and efficient, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses, with a pay-per-use model that enables customized applications.
