Galaxia and Reaction Dynamics Sign Historic Multi-Launch Partnership to Advance Sovereign Space Access for Canada
Ottawa, May 28 CANSEC — Galaxia is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Reaction Dynamics with the signing of a multi-launch agreement. The agreement will see Canadian-made satellites launched on Reaction Dynamics’s Aurora-8 launch system solidifying Galaxia’s role in enabling sovereign space infrastructure for the country. This partnership marks the first commercial contract to fly Canadian satellites aboard Canadian launch vehicles and was signed today in Ottawa at Canada’s largest defence and security trade show.
As part of this campaign, Galaxia will launch Lancer-1, the pilot mission of its future connectivity constellation, along with multiple hosted payload missions supporting domestic and international clients through its MissionOne turnkey space service. “This partnership marks a turning point in Canada’s ability to access space on its own terms,” said Arad Gharagozli, CEO of Galaxia. “For the first time, Canadian-built technology will ride aboard a Canadian-built launch vehicle from Canadian soil — and Galaxia’s technology is at the heart of making that happen. Together, we’re unlocking space for Canadian innovators, governments, small businesses and industry in a way that’s never been possible before.”
Galaxia’s MissionOne service offers complete, end-to-end support for space missions — including satellite design, integration, regulatory compliance, launch coordination, and in-orbit operations. Built to serve government, commercial, and research sectors alike, MissionOne is designed to simplify access to space and empower organizations of all sizes to deploy their technologies in orbit. Through this partnership, Galaxia is expanding its capacity to deliver reliable, turnkey missions and inviting Canadian and international customers to bring their payloads to space with confidence. As Canada’s leading hosted payload provider, Galaxia is opening a new era of space access that is homegrown, independent, and scalable.
“We are proud to advance sovereign space access for Canada and to help foster a resilient, innovative domestic space ecosystem alongside Galaxia. It is a historic privilege to fly the first commercial Canadian satellite on a Canadian rocket,” said Bachar Elzein, CEO of Reaction Dynamics.
This historic partnership reflects a shared commitment to building and controlling Canada’s own space infrastructure, setting the stage for a stronger national presence in global space markets.
