Communications & Digital Marketing Co-Op

Join our Communications team to help tell Galaxia's story. You'll create content, support launches and events, and track marketing performance while learning how a satellite company communicates complex technology to the world.

Responsibilities

Based in our Halifax office, this co-op supports the Communications & Marketing team in telling Galaxia's story across digital channels. You will work closely with marketing, engineering, and leadership to create content, support events, and help grow our brand presence. This is a co-op position.

Content Creation

Create and schedule content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) to grow our audience and engagement
Assist in producing graphics, short-form videos, and animations that explain Galaxia's technology in accessible ways
Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with mission milestones, launches, and company news

Campaigns & Events

Support the planning and execution of product launches, mission milestones, and press announcements
Assist with event coordination for conferences, trade shows, and company milestones

Analytics & Strategy

Track and report on marketing analytics (engagement, reach, website traffic) and suggest data-driven improvements
Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to translate technical concepts into compelling storie

Requirements

What We Look For:

Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Strong writing skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools

Experience with video editing or graphic design tools
Curiosity about space and satellite technology
An ability to translate technical ideas for a general audience
