Electronics Engineer

Galaxia is looking for an Electronics Engineer who will lead the hands-on design and development of mission-critical space electronics, including the PDU, Battery System, and On-Board Computer. In this role, you will coordinate closely with mechanical, embedded, software, and systems engineering teams to guarantee full subsystem compatibility and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

Design & Analysis

Design and deliver mission-critical electronics for Galaxia's satellite platforms

PCB schematic capture & layout for flight hardware.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level.

Test & Verification

Develop and execute test plans for functional testing, fault analysis, & EMI/EMC compliance.
Support qualification, acceptance testing, and design reviews.

Integration & Fabrication‍

Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate spacecraft hardware.
Design systems for space environments: radiation, thermal, vacuum, launch .

Requirements

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience designing and testing electronics hardware.
Strong analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
Experience with schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout, and testing.
Familiarity with communication interfaces: UART, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet.
Embedded C/C++ experience.
Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, OrCad, KiCad, etc..).

What sets you apart:

Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
Space or high-reliability electronics hardware experience.
Prior experience in the space, aerospace, or defense industry.
Radiation testing or failure analysis experience.
High-speed digital design or RF circuit design.
