Galaxia and Simera Sense Partner to Expand Advanced Earth Observation Capabilities

HALIFAX, NS & LEUVEN, BELGIUM — September 3, 2026 — Galaxia today announced a partnership with Simera Sense, a leading European provider of optical payloads and image processing solutions for space-based imaging. The collaboration will expand Galaxia's Earth observation capabilities by integrating advanced hyperspectral imaging technologies into its satellite mission offerings.

Headquartered in Belgium, Simera Sense serves more than 60 customers worldwide and delivers end-to-end imaging solutions for small satellites across RGB, video, multispectral, and hyperspectral applications.

The partnership strengthens Galaxia's ability to deliver advanced mission solutions for commercial, civil, and defence customers, while providing access to world-class hyperspectral capabilities that enable richer insights across a range of Earth observation applications.
